Dave has played on over 400 albums with artists such as Elton John, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Peter Frampton, Don Williams, and The Chieftains, and has played live with Steve Winwood, Mose Allison, John Fogerty, and Willie Nelson. He has played the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Merle Fest, Carnegie Hall, the Ryman Auditorium, and Royal Albert Hall, and was voted Nashville’s “Bassist of The Year” in 1997, and “Studio Musician of the Year” in 1991. 

 

He is also a producer, songwriter and performer, and his debut solo CD "Basses Loaded" was released by Earwave Records in 1996, followed by CD's by Tone Patrol, Blue Christmas, and a concert video of the All-Bass Orchestra. His instructional video "Dave Pomeroy - Bass Day '97" was released in 1998 by Warner Music Publications.
